We are sad to announce that this is the end. TAEDEAT has, as of now, retired indefinatly and will not release the recorded album [10:6-7]. Several circumstances lay as foundation to this break-up, a couple of key events being the distance between the dwellings of the members of the band and the medical condition preventing lead vocalist Martin to play bass.

So we close the chapter for TAEDEAT after app. 6 years. However, we are convinced that other bands and prophets will carry on with the strife and the ambition to bring the world to its inevitable demise. Rage, my friends.

I am sad to announce that one of the founding members of Taedeat and our long time friend, Mattias Norberg, has been forced to leave the band. We find that it is no longer a negotiable situation to, as members of Taedeat, live as far apart as we do. The possible solutions to this problem have been twisted and turned and ripped inside out in an attempt to keep the band intact, but in the end we found that all roads led to the same avenue.

Mattias has a damn fine life in central Sweden, something we truly wish him, and we would never expect him to put the band before family. My hope remains with the thought that we will remain friends through this ordeal and that none of us will suffer in the long run.

As is, we stand without bass player. The search goes on for someone to fill this empty spot, while we are composing new material for the upcoming release. We'll try and keep you posted regarding our progress, so make sure to check back for news.

I would like to start my statement by telling you that it was not my decision to leave the band. It was the remaining members of Taedeat that thought that it was an untenable situation with me living so far away from the rest of the band. It was with great sadness I received their decision. But I do respect their choice and I do understand why they have been forced to come up with this sollution, even though things could have been done in a better way. We have talked things through and there´s no hard feelings anymore.

I will never stop playing and writing music, so you will soon find me on a stage near you again.

We are still really good friends and I wish them all the best with the band in the future (Their upcoming release will kick ass!).

It´s going to be some stressful days for the band (again!). Mattias is in town for a couple of weeks. He´s learning some new songs and we´re planning all the details for our upcoming party. All the rehearsals went great (so far). The setlist is slowly taking form.



Jun 21, 2007 | 4 New Songs Recorded!
Just recovered from a massive weekend in the Studio with the band. Four new songs have been recorded as a demo that may or may not reach the ears of the public. We haven't yet decided. The four tracks are destined to appear on the next album though, entitled in order of their appearance; "Until I Return", "Arrival (To the Fields of Amnesia)", "Remember" and "Blood". These will make up chapter 2, 4, 5 and 9 of the epic "The Heptagon", planned for release in early 2008. Until then, we'll see what will be changed and what will be kept. Time will tell.

Jun 11, 2007 | Pre-Demo Songs Erased
For those of you who have been listening to and/or downloaded the sample songs Blood, Arrival and Coma from either this page, our myspace or trigg page, count yourselves a lucky select. The songs are now erased from the servers as we take the production of our next album to the next stage. This will result in a lot of changes in the songs, some more subtle, others quite drastical, so don't be surprised if you won't recognize the songs once the album is released.

In other news, this weekend Taedeat will enter the Gemini 4 Studio for three days to record demo versions of the songs Blood, Arrival (To the Fields of Amnesia) and Until I Return. We expect to have the songs mixed and ready for listening a week or so after coming home.

You might wanna hold those cheers.... ...These mixes will NOT be made public and will strictly be kept by the band for analysis and reflection. From here on out, the only thing that will be presented from the upcoming release will be live-takes, short clips from the studio and so forth. We have decided to keep it this way for several reasons, reasons we fail to see the point in explaining.

Jan 05, 2007 | Happy Fucking New Year
Starting off the new year, we figured we'd give you an update on what's going on. So here it is, broken down.

Azogh is on his way home from his long exile and is expected to ground himself in Umeå with the rest of the band sometime between February and April.

The first draft of the cover for The Heptagon Chronicles is finished and found on display in the Upcoming section of our Discography. Titles are also displayed, lyrics to follow. Music is coming along and predemos are being recorded on and off.

A few galleries are up and running. Find them in the Band section of the gallery. By now you should now that you can Send Us Pictures as well, so any old picture you might have that could be of use or abuse by us, please go on and send them.

Furthermore, the video gallery now contains a documentary covering the recording of the Quademonium CD. Get you flash player ready, lean back end enjoy.

Dec 26, 2006 | Activity Update
As the year is coming to an end, we have begun the process of writing material for an upcoming release. A few songs are pre-demo'd, a few new lyrics are written. At this point, we are looking at a concept-album and the production title is set to "The Heptagon Chronicles I: Past the Hexagon and into Seven".

No time frame has been set for this release, and we will continue working on this Epic until we feel ready to enter the studio. This may be a few months or up to a year. Time will tell. Stay tuned for updates and demo-samples in the near to distant future.

As decided by the people voting at the forum, the new cover for Quademonium has been decided and can be viewed in the discography section of this page along with updated titles for the coming release. We are happy to inform you that everything is set for the recording and that Taedeat will release the CD on their own label Sheol Records. Taedeat has been kind of productive during the christmas holiday. Drums, bass and guitars are now recorded on 9 songs. Azogh will enter Åströms apartment today to record the vocal parts. (Bare in mind that the songs that will be posted will NOT be the album recordings but rather drum-machine based home recordings for song evaluation).

Schedule for the pre-production recording of Quademonium will be made shortly. As soon as the pre-demos are recorded they will be posted on the Church of Taedeat webpage for Acolytes, Adepts and Bishops to review and post oppinions on. We are eagre to hear your comments about the new tracks.

Bare in mind that the songs that will be posted will NOT be the album recordings but rather drum-machine based home recordings for song evaluation. So we are interested in your views on the actual songs and structures and not the production quality.

Nov 10, 2005 | Heavy rehearsal followup
Once again, it's been a few hectical days for the band. Six months since the last gathering and everything ran smoothly! 11 hours of rehearsal in three days, wicked! We have also put together a setlist for our upcoming gigs. The crowd will witness a holy mixture of songs from We bring the fourth, Quademortis and some new songs.

It's been a few hectical days for Mathew and Azogh in Mad's home town while Mark and Calvin has prepared for the return of the two lost members through heavy rehearsing. This night, the Cardinal and the Bringer of Plaugue will leave the south and by the afternoon of November 5th, the band will finally be gathered in Umeå to start the full on rehearsal of new material as they get ready for the recording of Quademonium. We have now finished the video of "Church of Taedeat"! After weeks of frustration and a computer meltdown we´re now done with the cutting part of the process. You´ll find the video in the download section in the next couple of days!

The new page is launched, designed to match the future CD release, expected early 2006. The fires of hell has been left behind, and Taedeat will in the coming months compose the last bits and pieces of their upcoming full length recording. With a brand new site comes the bugs. Mar 29, 2005 | Before recording update
Both Azogh Martins and Mad Mathew will return to their hometown Umeå in the end of next week for the recordings. There will be some hectic days in the rehearsal room before entering the studio on sunday the 10th.

Taedeat will once again enter the Dimrakk studio to record their new promo CD between the 10th and the 16th of April. Four songs are planned to be recorded and hopefully one more on top of that.

Feb 19, 2005 | Yet another update
Azogh returned for a week and during the rehearsals of that time, new material and structures were formed. Plans for the recording of a promo CD have been made and will most likely be executed in mid April.

Plans to find a new axe wielder, to unload the burden of Azogh, have also been made and if you think that YOU are up for the task and have the time to dedicate, feel free to email TAEDEAT. You'll find the email address on the contacts section of the page.

Taedeat is running intense rehearsing sessions at the moment, collating material for recording later this year. The title for the next album has been set to "Quademonium" and some confirmed titles are:

- Caelestis
- In Solium Ferreum
- Quademonium
- Quartum Ferrimus
- Dominus Satanis
- Nefastus

A reunion with vocalist Azogh Martins, at present in self-invoked exile in England, is planned for early February and from there more detailed plans for the future will be formed, Stay tuned. And by the way...all mp3s files can now be found in the downloads section...Hail Satan!

The debut album is now completed and awaiting release. Official releasedate for the CD, which after long consideration will be entitled "We Bring the Fourth...", will be on the 26th of April.

Await a battlefield of metal, guts, gore and satanic pleasure on that date. Location for the releaseparty is still not set but will be held in the bands hometown of Umeå on the day of the release.

During February Taedeat will record their debut album. The album will contain an unspecified number of songs and will be released on Sulphur Community. Oct 30, 2003 | New name, new lineup
In September, Ronnie Rocker Barnét decided to leave the band and focus solely on his other constillation Embracing and thus we once again found ourselves without a stringbender. The band has been put on ice since then while we tried to find someone capable of filling his spot. Yesterday though, we got tired of waiting and cut to the easiest path. Azogh picked up a guitar and started rehearsing the songs and our previous quintet was down to a fourmember troop.

With this change we also thought that it was for the best to change our name into something shorter and more fitting for our music and so the name Surrounded By All was burried along with the last remains of mellow music.

Now, hold on to your pentagrams. Eternal darkness stands around the corner. Death awaits.

Jul 21, 2003 | New demo-MCD out now
We celebrated our one-year anniversary by making a hostile takeover of a local recordingstudio where we recorded 4 songs for a new demo-MCD. The titles reads in order of appearance; "Death Awaits You", "My Inferno", "Stairway to Hell" and "Surrounded By All". The song entitled SBA was previously released on the demo "The Hexagon Chronicles" but this is a new, heavier, faster and generally more kicking recording of the old song. As usual, you are able to enjoy clips of the new songs by moving on to the downloads section of this page. Until next time, rock hard and stay evil.



Jun 28, 2003 | Threat leaves SBA, upcoming anniversary
After playing with us since the start, our dear friend Threat has decided that he can no longer continue to play in SBA. There are no hard feelings between Threat and us in any way, and we will still remain amazing friends! Our good old friend and producer Ronnie Rocker is our new string-bender. Welcome!

We are also celebrating one year as a band in two weeks. We´re entering the studio to record three or four new songs. The titles reads as follows: "Stairway to Hell", "My Inferno", "Death Awaits You" and "I Am Anger".

We´ve got some problems with our homepage. They closed our old server and homepage, so we had to build a new one. But now we´re back in bussiness with this brand new site!

We also got a new demo CD out now called "Putrid". Go to the downloads section and download mp3 samples from all our demos!

We´ll hit the stage at Nolia mässan, Umeå on august 8th. We will give you all the info about the gig as soon as we know something more about it. Rock on!
